SPMT (self-propelled modular trailer) manufactured by L-ROBOT, it is a multi-axles transporter and has a Power Pack Unit (PPU). It is designed as heavy hauler and used in many industry sectors, to transport oversize and overweight cargoes, such as motor, transformer, spacecraft, oil refining equipment, oil platform, bridge girder, and many massive objects.
Power Pack Unit
PPU is the source of power for SPMT. The diesel engine provides torque to hydraulic pumps which drive the SPMT to travel & steer, and the platform to lift.
The main components of PPU include:
Engine, Hydraulic Pumps, Hydraulic Valves, Fuel Tank and Hydraulic oil Tank, Engine Radiator and Hydraulic oil Radiator, and others.
